Former professional basketball player Kris Humphries, a Twin Cities native, and his family plan to open their first Dave's Hot Chicken restaurant across from Ridgedale Center in Minnetonka. An entity called MN Chicken LLC is asking the city to approve a conditional use permit related to seating and parking for a retail space formerly occupied by Starbucks at 1805 Plymouth Road, according to a Minnetonka Planning Commission document. The restaurant isn't proposing a drive-thru or planning to sell alcohol.
