MINNEAPOLIS — Despite being just two points from tying Ohio State for the WCHA regular season title last season, the University of Minnesota was a top team in the nation and went on to win the WCHA Final Faceoff in 2023. Will the Gophers still be a top-five team in the country even after losing star athletes such as Taylor Heise and Grace Zumwinkle this offseason? There will be a lot of new faces on the roster this year, but it doesn't seem like Minnesota will be sliding down the rankings anytime soon.
